I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and her Bachelorâs Degree from Syracuse University. Damen has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, families, and adults. As a clinician, Damen is devoted to learning about her clients and helping them work towards their individual goals using professional knowledge and creativity.
Damen uses multiple theoretical approaches based on her client's needs. She strives to meet her individual clients where they are and use the approaches that are the most helpful for them. Damen has a particular clinical interest in working with teenagers and adults helping to build self-esteem.
Damen aims to bring honesty and understanding into all therapy sessions. Damen is passionate about her work and strives to support her clients in feeling safe, valued, and empowered. She is kind, empathetic, and easy to talk with.
