About
I primarily work with students in preschool through graduate school who are experiencing learning difficulties, social challenges, intense frustration and/or low motivation. Challenges with planning and organization, memory, emotional regulation, social skills, visual/auditory processing, and/or attention are just some of the many possible hindrances to school achievement. Through the administration of comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, I diagnose cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional disabilities in students and identify strengths that can be bolstered. I can help make sense of a student's unique learning profile.
My thorough reports and recommendations can be important for those seeking accommodations. With several years of experience working as a School Psychologist in the public schools, I am knowledgeable about the laws governing special education service provision. Whenever requested, I consult with schools and assist in IEP meetings.
Assessment of gifted students is an additional service that I provide. I am particularly motivated to help individuals understand and capitalize on their learning strengths. The goal of my evaluative services is always to provide information and develop recommendations that will help individuals achieve.
