Sharing your story can be scary and uncomfortable. Choosing a therapist you can connect with to support your journey of self-reflection and healing is important. I strive to build a good relationship with clients and to create a safe space where everyone can feel comfortable sharing their stories. I’m a laid-back person and believe in being my authentic self with clients. I understand that some prefer a quiet, calm space to reflect while others prefer a space with creativity and humor. My approach is collaborative, you are the expert on your life, my role is guide us towards the goals you want to achieve.
I have provided counseling services to clients of all ages but have spent much of my career working with kids ages 10 to 17. I utilize concepts from a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Strengths Based to help clients with concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger, executive functioning, and more.
